Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

In the absence of moral clarity, humans are easily deceived by satan and his allies. Unable to discern evil paradigms— philosophies, they willingly participate in satan’s plan to destroy mankind, including his collaborators.

There was a time when evil existed in the shadows. Hiding behind masks of tolerance, intellectual enlightenment and individuality.

No more!

When I awoke October seventh and learned that Israel had been attacked and had declared war. Intense sorrow washed over me. The rubicon had been crossed. The world as we knew it was no more.

The barbarity of the Hamas attack against Israeli citizens ripped masks off, exposing unadulterated evil and its supporters. Later that day I was reminded of the parable of the wheat and weeds.

Jesus frequently spoke in parables— vignettes of daily life. These parables revealed spiritual truths that are foundational for the transformation of one’s heart, mind and soul.

Jesus gave them another parable to conside. Saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds resembling wheat among the wheat and went away. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the weeds appeared also.”

The servants of the owner came to him and said, “Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have weeds in it?

He replied to them, “An enemy has done this.”

The servants asked him, “Then do you want us to go and pull them out?”

But he said, “No. Because as you pull out the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let them grow together until the harvest. At harvest time I will tell the reapers, ‘First gather the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned but gather the wheat into my barn.’”

Then He left the crowds and went into the house.

His disciples came to Him saying, “Explain clearly to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”

He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world. As for the good seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered up and burned in the fire. So will it be at the end of the age.” Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-40

Are you saying that if you don’t support Israel’s God-given right to exist, your eternal destination is the lake of fire?

YES!

Using BibleGateway, a word search of five different versions: Amplified Bible (AMP), Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB), New American Standard Bible (NASB), New King James Version (NKJV) and New Living Translation) revealed the following number of passages.

Israel

2626 (AMP)

2405 (HCSB)

2361 NASB

2399 NKJV

2642 (NLT)

I then did a word search for passages in the NLT for the following: the Lord, God, Jesus, love, holy, the law, sin, repent and salvation. There were only two words that had more passages than Israel— “the Lord” (6650) and “God” (4,747).

Coincidence?

I don’t think so.

The nation of Israel plays an integral role in Papa’s plan to redeem mankind and restore the earth to Garden of Eden status. Papa so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave His One and only begotten Son. So that whoever believes and trusts in Him as Savior shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Israel is where Papa revealed Himself to mankind in the person of Jesus— His birth, ministry, crucifixion and resurrection. Israel is also the birthplace of the church, and the location of many of the events in the bible.

Papa chose the nation of Israel to be the special people through whom Jesus Christ would be born, beginning with the covenant He made with Abraham, “I have given this land to your descendants, all the way from the border of Egypt to the great Euphrates River.” Genesis 15:18

Despite Israel’s disobedience through the ages, Papa will not abandoned them.

“The day is coming,” says the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah. This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and brought them out of the land of Egypt. They broke that covenant, though I loved them as a husband loves his wife,” says the Lord.

“But this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel after those days,” says the Lord.

“I will put my instructions deep within them, and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people. And they will not need to teach their neighbors, nor will they need to teach their relatives. Saying, ‘You should know the Lord.’ For everyone, from the least to the greatest, will know Me already,” says the Lord.

“And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”

It is the Lord who provides the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to light the night, and who stirs the sea into roaring waves.

His name is the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, and this is what He says.

“I am as likely to reject my people Israel as I am to abolish the laws of nature! Just as the heavens cannot be measured and the foundations of the earth cannot be explored. So I will not consider casting them away for the evil they have done.

I, the Lord, have spoken!” Jeremiah 31:31-37

The Hamas attack October seventh is nothing new. Since the time Moses led the Hebrews out of Egyptian captivity, conflict has been a reality for Israel.

Whether it was the Egyptians, Moabites, Philistines, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, or Romans. The nation of Israel has always been persecuted.

Why?

We’re not waging war against enemies of flesh and blood alone. No, this fight is against tyrants, against authorities, against supernatural powers and demon princes that slither in the darkness of this world, and against wicked spiritual armies that lurk about in heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12

Satan will do anything to destroy Papa’s  special plan for the nation of Israel. Jewish hatred is the foundation of satan’s plan to destroy Israel. Whether it was King Nebukeniwzer of Babylon, the Persian official Haman, Hitler or the current Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khameneii.

Persecution and military conflicts will continue and intensify as the end of this age nears. In the final days, Israel’s military will be overwhelmed. Many of her citizens displaced or imprisoned. When it appears Israel is on the brink of annihilation. Christ will come to her rescue.

John looked up and saw that heaven had opened. Suddenly, a white horse appeared. Its rider is called Faithful and True, and with righteousness He exercises judgment and wages war.

His eyes burn like a flaming fire, and on His head are many crowns. His name was written before the creation of the world, and no one knew it except He Himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name He was known by is The Word of God.  The armies of heaven, outfitted in fine linen, white and pure, were following behind Him on white steeds

From His mouth darts a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule over them with a scepter made of iron. He will trample the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God, the All Powerful. There on His robe and on His thigh was written His name: King of kings and Lord of lords.

Then I looked up and saw a messenger standing in the sun. With a loud voice, he called to all the birds that fly through midheaven.

Come. Gather for the great feast God is preparing for you. Where you will feast on the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of the rich and powerful, the flesh of horses and their riders—all flesh—both free and slave, both small and great.”

I looked down, and I saw the beast I had seen earlier and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered together to wage war against the One riding the white horse and His heavenly army. The beast was soon captured along with the false prophet, the earth-beast I had seen earlier who performed signs to deceive those who had agreed to receive the mark of the beast, and those who worshiped its detestable image. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. All who remained met death at the blade of the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the One riding on the white horse. All the birds feasted fully on their flesh. Revelation Revelation 19:11-21
