First century Christians church paradigm revolutionized the world. The church was a single worldwide fellowship of believers. A local congregation was a mini-church. Bound together to embody the Kingdom of God in their local community.
These early Christians knew individual actions had significant ramifications for all. So they lived their lives accordingly.
Christians who…
Did not separate themselves from their community. They did not use eccentric speech or engage in eccentric lifestyles.
Did not form congregations that competed with each other for members.
Understood sin contaminates your life and others. Especially those you love.
Knew there is not a date of expiration on the vows you make to God or on His behalf.
Believed God anoints His spiritual representatives and defines their duties— no one else.
Were eternally thankful that spiritual lineage is more important than biological ancestry.
Willingly and frequently helped the poor.
Trusted God and followed His standards for living a redeemed, holy life.
Jesus is returning soon for His Bride— His Church.
A worldwide body of believers…
No longer compromising God’s truth.
Boldly proclaiming the Gospel— God’s heavenly treaty with earth’s inhabitants.
Reigning over the territory the Lord has bequeathed to them.
Confidently confronting the powers of darkness in whatever form they take.
Many, me included. Believe this is the generation that will witness Christ’s return as foretold by Him.
“There will be earth shattering events. The heavens themselves will seem to be shaken with signs in the sun, in the moon and in the stars.
And across the earth the outsider nations will feel powerless. Terrified in the face of a roaring flood of fear and foreboding. Crashing like tidal waves upon them.
‘What’s happening to the world?’ people will wonder.
The cosmic order will be destabilized. And then, at that point, they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and blazing glory.
So when the troubles begin. Don’t be afraid. Look up. Raise your head high. Because the truth is that your liberation is fast approaching.
Look over there at that fig tree and all the trees surrounding it. When the leaves break out of their buds. Nobody has to tell you that summer is approaching. It’s obvious to you.
It’s the same in the larger scheme of things. When you see all these things happening. You can be confident that the Kingdom of God is approaching.
I’m telling you the truth. This generation will not pass from the scene before everything I’m telling you has occurred. Heaven and earth will cease to exist before My words ever fail.
So be careful. Guard your hearts. They can be made heavy with moral laxity, with drunkenness, with the hassles of daily life. Then the day I’ve been telling you about might catch you unaware and trap you. Because it’s coming. Nobody on earth will escape it.
So you have to stay alert. Praying that you’ll be able to escape the coming trials. So you can stand tall in the presence of the Son of Man. Luke 21:25-36
Don’t let anyone fool you. Many will come and claim to be Me. They will say that they are the Messiah, and they will fool many people.
You will soon hear about wars and threats of wars but don’t be afraid. These things will have to happen first, but that isn’t the end. Nations and kingdoms will go to war against each other. People will starve to death, and in some places there will be earthquakes.
But this is just the beginning of troubles.
You will be arrested, punished and even killed. Because of Me you will be hated by people of all nations. Many will give up and will betray and hate each other. Many false prophets will come and fool a lot of people. Evil will spread and cause many people to stop loving others.
But if you keep on being faithful right to the end, you will be saved. When the good news about the Kingdom has been preached all over the world and told to all nations. The end will come.
Someday you will see that “Horrible Thing” in the holy place. Just as the prophet Daniel said.
Everyone who reads this must try to understand! If you are living in Judea at that time, run to the mountains. If you are on the roof of your house, don’t go inside to get anything. If you are out in the field, don’t go back for your coat. It will be a terrible time for women who are expecting babies or nursing young children. And pray that you won’t have to escape in winter or on a Sabbath.
This will be the worst time of suffering since the beginning of the world. Nothing this terrible will ever happen again. If God doesn’t make the time shorter, no one will be left alive. But because of God’s chosen ones, He will make the time shorter.
Someone may say, ‘Here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There He is!’ But don’t believe it. False messiahs and false prophets will come and work great miracles and signs. They will even try to fool God’s chosen ones. But I have warned you ahead of time.
If you are told that the Messiah is out in the desert, don’t go there! And if you are told that he is in some secret place, don’t believe it! The coming of the Son of Man will be like lightning that can be seen from east to west.
Right after those days of suffering, the sun will become dark, and the moon will no longer shine. The stars will fall, and the powers in the sky will be shaken. Then a sign will appear in the sky, and there will be the Son of Man.
All nations on earth will weep when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. At the sound of a loud trumpet, He will send his angels to bring his chosen ones together from all over the earth. Matthew 24:4-31
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking. Marrying and giving in marriage. Until the day that Noah entered the ark. They did not understand until the flood came and took them all away.
So will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then there will be two men in the field. One will be taken, and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill. One will be taken, and one will be left.
Therefore, be on the alert. For you do not know which day your Lord is coming. But be sure of this. That if the head of the house had known at what time of the night the thief was coming. He would have been on the alert and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.
For this reason you also must be ready. For the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.” Matthew 24:36-44
Everything will be destroyed. So you should serve and honor God by the way you live. You should look forward to the day when God judges everyone, and you should try to make it come soon. On that day the heavens will be destroyed by fire, and everything else will melt in the heat. 2 Peter 3:11-12
All of you are children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to night or darkness. So then, let’s not sleep like the others, but let’s stay awake and stay sober. People who sleep. Sleep at night. People who get drunk. Get drunk at night.
Since we belong to the day. Let’s stay sober. Wearing faithfulness and love as a piece of armor that protects our body and the hope of salvation as a helmet.1 Thessalonians 5:5-8
Aim at and pursue…
righteousness— right standing with God and true goodness.
godliness. Which is the loving fear of God and being Christ-like.
faith.
love.
steadfastness— patience.
gentleness of heart.
Fight the good fight of the faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned. For which you confessed the good confession of faith before many witnesses.
Keep all His precepts unsullied and flawless. Irreproachable. Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ the Anointed One. 1 Timothy 6:11-12 and 14
I am more than ready for a family reunion with the disciples of the past and present. But until that day I vow to open the eyes of the blind. Free the captives from dark dungeons. Live a life of unity, love and service. One worthy of admiration and duplication.

Son of God has nothing to do with your gender, but with the spiritual authority that is yours in Christ. Females and males unconditionally surrendered to God’s lordship are considered His sons. Guaranteed an inheritance— the Kingdom of God on both sides of eternity.
