In a world where the middle ground is the road most traveled.

Where the color gray is preferred over black or white.

Where compromise is the order of the day.

Absolute truth is becoming a relic of the past. Synonymous with closed mindedness and ignorance. Truth is no longer revered or considered the guidepost for a life of excellence or purpose.

But in God’s Kingdom His righteousness— truth is the compass pointing you in the right direction. Helping you to traverse life’s detours so you reach your destination— the image of Christ.

God is the all powerful and all knowing Creator of the universe, and He stills rules it today.

True or false?

How you answer this question is fundamental to your spiritual and personal transformation.

Why?

The God who spoke light into existence. Saying, “Let light shine from the darkness,” is the very One who sets our hearts ablaze to shed light on the knowledge of God’s glory revealed in the face of Jesus, the Anointed One. 2 Corinthians 4:6

But first you must decide whether Jesus, or you are the rightful owner of your life. Only then will you be able to repent and turn from your sins. Putting all rebellion behind you.

How can you do this?

Pursue justice, godliness, faithfulness, love, perseverance and gentleness.

Fight the good fight of the faith!

Cling to the eternal life you were called to when you confessed the good confession before witnesses.

Keep His commandment.

Have a spotless, indisputable record until our Lord Jesus the Anointed appears to set this world straight. 1 Timothy 6:11-12 and 14

If you desire to travel into parts of the Kingdom few have seen. You cannot redefine God’s truth based on personal preferences or political correctness. Only God defines who He is and His blueprint for engaging Him, others and the culture.

Allegiance to God’s righteousness— His truth is not for the faint hearted or the spineless. As the preeminent nonconformist, you cannot embrace the culture’s definition of reality.

Instead…

Refuse to color inside the lines. Be authentic, not a copy of someone else.

Swim upstream against the current of ordinary. Determined to reach your goals no matter the cost.

Dance to a different drummer. March down the road less travel.

Think outside the box. Refuse to be imprisoned by the narrow mindedness of political correctness and religious dogma.

Yes, people will be offended. You will be ridiculed and persecuted for rejecting man’s truth— political correctness.

But this way of thinking and acting will lead you into the throne room of God. Your life will be characterized by phenomenal faith. Faith fueled by truth— God’s righteousness.

Will you boldly live a life that declares the Lord is…

A God of excellence who is not satisfied with the status quo?

A relational God who wants you to passionately pursue Him?

A holy God who is dishonored by words and actions that misrepresent His righteousness?

A righteous God who equates Kingdom living with spiritual maturity?

A trustworthy God whose truth is infallible and eternally relevant?

A visionary God who uses the prophetic to prepare His Church for Christ’s return?

A transformational God who demands converts become like Christ?

A sovereign God whose Kingdom exists outside the four walls of a local church?

Will you be a Daniel? Boldly marching into the dens of political correctness, humanism, and religious hypocrisy. Confident God is all powerful and all knowing.

Declaring to the world and the supernatural realm that we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth.

Instead, we will speak the truth in love. Growing in every way more and more like Christ who is the head of His body— the Church. Ephesians 4:14-15

GO DEEPER

Ultimately, it is faith that separates the spiritual giants from the spiritual pigmies. A faith which is not dependent upon outward circumstances— positive or negative.

Faith for many is an unknown variable. Particularly, individuals whose relationship with the Lord is one of convenience or aloofness.

Are you a spiritual giant or spiritual pigmy?

Identify a trial in your life and corresponding behaviors that supports this.
