Once upon a time Americans were the premiere dreamers. Birthing a nation that became a beacon of hope to the world. Revolutionizing the world with their inventions. Refusing to remain behind locked doors while the world crashed and burned. Dreaming unselfishly.
More than ever America and the world need altruistic dreamers. Individuals who tenaciously believe they can make the world a better place. Who no matter the circumstances refuse to
- abandon their dreams.
- sacrifice creativity for the safety of a paycheck.
- please others when it conflicts with their ideals.
The time has come to honor you dreamers. You not only dream the impossible dream. You have the courage to make the dream a reality.
Whatever you do. You need courage. Whatever course you decide upon. There is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.
