There was a time when I despised being a misfit and attempted to assimilate into the sea of anonymity. Nameless faces mindlessly accepting what culture or religion had judged appropriate.
But no matter how hard I tried to suppress my misfitness. It emerged from the shadows of conformity.
Thankfully, this ardent lover of Jesus and free spirited child of the 60s embraced who she was. Neither the narrow mindedness of religion or culture would confine her. She would accept her misfitness as a gift from God. Because…
