Just as false prophets rose up in the past among God’s people, false teachers will rise up in the future among you. They will slip in with their destructive opinions, denying the very Master who bought their freedom and dooming themselves to destruction swiftly, but not before they attract others by their unbridled and immoral behavior. Because of them and their ways, others will criticize and condemn the path of truth we walk as seedy and disreputable. These false teachers will follow their greed and exploit you with their fabrications, but be assured that their judgment was pronounced long ago. and their destruction does not sleep. 2 Peter 2:1-3
How do disciples of Christ guard their hearts so they aren’t deceived?
Do not believe every spirit speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet. Instead, test the spirits to see whether they are from God because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world.
By this you know and recognize the Spirit of God. Every spirit that acknowledges and confesses the fact that Jesus Christ has actually come in the flesh as a man is from God. Every spirit that does not confess Jesus, acknowledging that He has come in the flesh, but would deny any of the Son’s true nature is not of God. This is the spirit of the antichrist which you have heard is coming and is now already in the world.
You are of God, and you belong to Him and have already overcome them, the agents of the antichrist. Because He who is in you is greater than he, satan. who is in the world of sinful mankind. They who teach twisted doctrine are of the world and belong to it. Therefore. they speak from the viewpoint of the world with its immoral freedom and baseless theories. Demanding compliance with their opinions and ridiculing the values of the upright, and the gullible one of the world listens closely and pays attention to them.
We who teach God’s word are from God, energized by the Holy Spirit. Whoever knows God through personal experience listens to us and has a deeper understanding of Him. Whoever is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know without any doubt the spirit of truth motivated by God and the spirit of error motivated by satan. 1 John 4:1-6
Yes, satan is alive and well amongst those who call themselves Christian. Not renewing their minds with Papa’s wisdom— His truth makes them susceptible to his lies. Paradigms that are the opinions, prejudices and personal preferences of unrighteous, deceived individuals.
Satan knows if he prevents or perverts the seed of Papa’s word being planted into the hearts of men and women. He can convince them that sin won’t impact their lives or relationship with the Trinity.
The Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith They will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead. 1 Timothy 4:1-2
Your spiritual radar should sound an alarm when anyone uses a leadership position, a denominational doctrine, traditions and rituals, public opinion polls or marketing strategies to support their interpretation of Papa’s truth. Any teaching that contradicts a biblical worldview isn’t to be trusted.
The totality of the bible is to be taught. Only then will conviction wash over the hearts of the unrepentant. Something that is increasingly more urgent as the Great Tribulation looms on the horizon.
If you want to be a member of the vast crowd that successfully exits the Great Tribulation. Your heart must be fireproofed so that you will be able to successfully resist and stand your ground in the evil day of danger, and having done everything that the crisis demands, to stand firm in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious. Ephesians 6:13
