letsloveothers

Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

Within each of us is the innate need to belong— to be accepted— to be loved. This need is so strong that it at times overshadows physiological and security needs.

Sadly, in America where diversity isn’t honored but often belittled. Stereotyping reigns supreme. Arbitrarily…

Establishing the perimeters for what is socially acceptable.

Identifying individuals as them or us.

Condoning humiliating and degrading individuals perceived as weak or different.

This inability or unwillingness to unconditionally accept people births judgment, condemnation, prejudice and discrimination.

The only hope for true social justice is Jesus.

As disciples of Christ, we must continually remind ourselves. In Papa’s Kingdom there are no second-class citizens. All are made in the image of Him. To unilaterally reject someone is to reject Papa’s nature.

Only when we stop judging others as superior, equal or inferior. Then, and only then will authentic and loving relationships become a reality.

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do because you are His dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

 Ephesians 5:1-2
