Why are so many unhappy?
Could it be they…
Have developed a negative pattern of thinking?
Inaccurately predict how a situation’s outcome will make them feel in the future?
Overestimate negative impacts and underestimate positive ones?
Focus on negative events, not positive ones?
King Solomon was keenly aware that seeking the pleasures of temporal happiness leads only to dissatisfaction, unhappiness and hopelessness.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, for self-preservation and enjoyment. Yet the desire of his soul is not satisfied. What advantage has the wise man over the fool? For being worldly-wise is not the secret to happiness. What advantage has the poor man who has learned how to walk publicly among the living with men’s eyes on him? For being poor is not the secret to happiness either. What the eyes see, enjoying what is available, is better than craving what the soul desires. This too is futility and chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 6:7-9
Want to change your outlook on life?
Adopt a biblical, eternal worldview by renewing your mind. Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills, and whatever God finds good, pleasing and complete. Romans 12:2
The renewal of you mind removes faulty, unrighteous thought patterns and learned patterns of behavior and emotions that defy or negate Papa’s truth and holiness.
Teaches you that you can’t control every aspect of the world around you.
BUT
You can take control of how you interpret and deal with whatever crosses your path.
Praise Papa during the bad times as well as the good times.
The Great I AM who is the same yesterday, today and forever.
The King of kings who never lies or changes His mind.
The Lord of lords who is faithful to fulfill His promises.
Abba Father who never forsakes His children and gives good gifts to them.
Yes, Papa is good all the time. End of story.
Seek Papa’s Kingdom and righteousness.
Do not worry about your life. Don’t worry about what you will eat, or what you will drink. Don’t worry about how you clothe your body. Living is about more than merely eating, and the body is about more than dressing up.
Look at the birds in the sky. They do not store food for winter. They don’t plant gardens. They do not sow or reap, and yet, they are always fed because your heavenly Father feeds them. You are even more precious to Him than a beautiful bird. If He looks after them, of course He will look after you. Worrying does not do any good. Who here can claim to add even an hour to his life by worrying?
Nor should you worry about clothes. Consider the lilies of the field, and how they grow. They do not work or weave or sew, and yet their garments are stunning. Even King Solomon, dressed in his most regal garb, was not as lovely as these lilies. Think about grassy fields. The grasses are here now, but they will be dead by winter. Yet God adorns them so radiantly. How much more will He clothe you, you of little faith, you who have no trust?
So do not consume yourselves with questions. What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? Outsiders make themselves frantic over such questions. They don’t realize that your heavenly Father knows exactly what you need.
Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and then all these things will be given to you too. So do not worry about tomorrow. Let tomorrow worry about itself. Living faithfully is a large enough task for today. Matthew 6:25-34
Allow Papa’s truth to conform you to the image of Christ.
Though we walk in the world, we do not fight according to this world’s rules of warfare. The weapons of the war we’re fighting are not of this world but are powered by God and effective at tearing down the strongholds erected against His truth. We are demolishing arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought, every emotion and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One. 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
In a letter to the church in Corinth, Paul encouragers believers to be transformed into the image of Christ. Embrace suffering, death and resurrection of your humanity here on earth. Only by doing so will the world witness Papa’s glory.
For the love of Christ controls and compels us. We have concluded this. One died for all, therefore all died. He died for all. So that all those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and was raised for their sake.
So from now on we regard no one from a human point of view, according to worldly standards and values. Though we have known Christ from a human point of view, now we no longer know Him in this way. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ— that is grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior, he is a new creature. Reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit. The old things, the previous moral and spiritual condition have passed away. Behold, new things have come because spiritual awakening brings a new life.
All these things are from God who reconciled us to Himself through Christ. Making us acceptable to Him and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. So that by our example we might bring others to Him, That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them but canceling them. He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. That is restoration to favor with God.
So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us. We as Christ’s representatives plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God. He made Christ who knew no sin to judicially be sin on our behalf. So that in Him we would become the righteousness of God. That is, we would be made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His gracious lovingkindness. 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
Beloved, stop pursuing the things of this world.
Stop believing they will fill the hunger in your soul reserved for Jesus.
Stop living for yourself.
Raise your hands to heaven and cry out to Papa.
Papa give me a heart of gratitude
