Jesus frequently spoke in parables— vignettes of everyday life. These parables revealed spiritual truths that are foundational for the transformation of your heart, mind and soul.
Jesus gave them another parable to consider, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds resembling wheat among the wheat and went away. So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the weeds appeared also.”
The servants of the owner came to him and said, “Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have weeds in it?”
He replied to them, “An enemy has done this.”
The servants asked him, “Then do you want us to go and pull them out?”
But he said, “No. Because as you pull out the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let them grow together until the harvest. At harvest time I will tell the reapers, ‘First gather the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned but gather the wheat into my barn.’”
Then He left the crowds and went into the house.
His disciples came to Him saying, “Explain clearly to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
He answered, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world. As for the good seed, these are the sons of the Kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one, and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. Just as the weeds are gathered up and burned in the fire. So will it be at the end of the age.” Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-40
This end time prophecy is more than ever applicable today because the end of this age is drawing to a close. This warning of fire— eternal damnation awaits the unrepentant, and that includes many who call themselves Christians.
Beloved, Seek the Lord while you can find Him. Call on Him now while He is near.
Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that He may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God for He will forgive generously.
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And My ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.
The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow. Producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.
It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah 55:6-11
Sadly, many churches prostitute Papa’s truth by…
Endorsing false social justice movements that are predicated on unrighteous— evil paradigms.
Remaining silent or sugar coating Papa’s truth so as not to offend.
Implementing “ministerial” programs that regurgitate the theories of non-believing individuals.
Investing more money and time on Easter egg hunts, fall carnivals and Christmas pageants than community outreach programs.
Promoting servanthood within the four walls of a church as superior to servanthood outside in the world.
Church, we must consume Papa’s word so that we…
Discern evil wrapped in a package of compromise and tolerance.
Passionately seek eternal, not earthly rewards.
Boldly invade the territory of darkness.
Like Paul, declare, “I will continue doing what I am doing to cut off any opportunity— clearly some are looking for one. For these false emissaries, these low-down, untrustworthy preachers, these posers who act as emissaries of the Anointed, to claim that they work under the same terms that we do.
No wonder they are so good at it. satan himself poses as a messenger of heavenly light. So why should we expect less from his servants plodding over the earth. Pretending to be ministers of righteousness. But in the end, they’ll get what’s coming to them. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
Be a Christian who promotes and models repentance. In doing so, you will receive the same recognition and honor as the Philadelphia church in the book of Revelation.
“These are the words of the holy One, the true One and the One who possesses the key of David. Which opens the possibilities so that no one can shut them. The One who closes all options so that no one can open.
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door which no one can shut. I have done this because you have limited strength. Yet you have obeyed My word and have not denied My name.
Watch, and I will make those of the congregation of satan— those who call themselves ‘Jews’ but are not because they lie— come before you penitent, falling at your feet. Then they will know how much I have loved you.
Because you have obeyed My instructions to endure and be patient. I will protect you from the time of trial which will come upon the whole earth and put everyone in it to the test.
I will soon return. Hold tight to what you have so that no one can take away your victor’s wreath.” Revelation 3:7-11
