Sadly, many delay or reject Papa’s invitation of salvation. Believing you can earn your way into heaven by being good and helping others.

Ignoring Papa’s truth that it is by grace, God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ that you have been saved. Actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life through faith. This salvation is not of yourselves, not through your own effort. It is the undeserved, gracious gift of God, not as a result of your works, nor your attempts to keep the Law. So that no one will be able to boast or take credit in any way for His salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9

Many secretly acknowledge Jesus is the gate that leads to eternal life but are unwilling to agree to Papa’s terms of surrender.

Break off your sins and show the reality of your repentance by righteousness— right standing with God, and moral and spiritual rectitude, and rightness in every area and relation. Liberate yourself from your iniquities by showing mercy and loving-kindness to the poor and oppressed. Daniel 4:27

It is faith in Jesus— Papa’s gift of salvation that makes repentance possible. By accepting this gift, Papa’s hand of mercy extracts you from the pit dug by your self-righteousness and pride. 

Faith in Jesus at times glaringly contradicts human reasoning. The intellectually enlightened would say faith is… 

Illogical.

Irrational.

Unreasonable.

Foolish.

Absurd.

Faith will never make sense to anyone who chooses to think temporally, not eternally. 

Papa knew if mankind could intellectually understand faith. Human beings would believe they were somehow responsible for His gift of salvation, and pride would rear its ugly head. Pride, which lead to Lucifer’s fall, will also lead to yours unless you are willing to obey Papa’s truth— His wisdom.

“Learn to be shrewd, you who are inexperienced. Develop common sense, you who are foolish. 

Listen, for I speak of noble things, and what My lips say is right. For My mouth tells the truth, and wickedness is detestable to My lips. All the words of My mouth are righteous. None of them are deceptive or perverse. All of them are clear to the perceptive and right to those who discover knowledge. 

Accept My instruction instead of silver and knowledge rather than pure gold. For Wisdom is better than precious stones, and nothing desirable can compare with it. I, Wisdom, share a home with shrewdness and have knowledge and discretion. 

To fear the Lord is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct and perverse speech. I possess good advice and competence. I have understanding and strength. It is by Me that kings reign, and rulers enact just law. By Me princes lead, as do nobles and all righteous judges. 

I love those who love Me, and those who search for Me find Me. With Me are riches and honor, lasting wealth and righteousness. My fruit is better than solid gold and My harvest than pure silver. I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice. Giving wealth as an inheritance to those who love Me, and filling their treasuries. 

The Lord made Me at the beginning of His creation, before His works of long ago. I was formed before ancient times, from the beginning, before the earth began. I was brought forth when there were no watery depths, and no springs filled with water. I was brought forth before the mountains and hills were established, before He made the land, the fields or the first soil on earth. 

I was there when He established the heavens. When He laid out the horizon on the surface of the ocean. When He placed the skies above. When the fountains of the ocean gushed forth. When He set a limit for the sea. So that the waters would not violate His command when He laid out the foundations of the earth. I was a skilled craftsman beside Him. I was His delight every day, always rejoicing before Him. I was rejoicing in His inhabited world. Delighting in the human race. 

And now, My sons listen to Me. Those who keep My ways are happy. Listen to instruction and be wise. Don’t ignore it. Anyone who listens to Me is happy. Watching at My doors every day. Waiting by the posts of My doorway. For the one who finds Me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord, but the one who sins against Me harms himself. All who hate Me love death.” Proverbs 8:5-36

Navigate this evil world.

Construct a life of excellence that reaps eternal rewards.

Ignore “the noise” and hear Papa’s still, small voice.

Walk by faith, not by sight.

Raise the white flag of surrender. Proclaim to the heavens and the world, “No other name will I kneel to but the name of Jesus!”
