Holding to a form of outward godliness— religion. Although they have denied its power. For their conduct nullifies their claim of faith. 2 Timothy 3:2-5
Yes, the world is watching. Judging not only us, but also Jesus.
As Christians we MUST heed these words of Jesus, “Your lives are like salt among the people. But if you, like salt, become bland, how can your saltiness be restored? Flavorless salt is good for nothing and will be thrown out and trampled on by others.
Your lives light up the world. Let others see your light from a distance. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop?
Who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light.
So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others. So that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:13-20
How can you be salt and light to a world that grows more evil each day?
Daring to confront those who mistakenly believe that we are living by the standards of the world, not by the Spirit’s wisdom and power. Although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons. Using manipulation to achieve our aims.
Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry. We stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience. 2 Corinthians 10:2-6
Biblical literacy is paramount. You MUST study and meditate on the teachings and wisdom of Papa’s word.
It’s fundamental for the nourishment of your soul, mind and body, especially in the time before Christ’s return. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction that challenges them with God’s truth. Wanting to have their ears tickled with something pleasing. They will accumulate for themselves many teachers one after another. Chosen to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold. And will turn their ears away from the truth. And will wander off into myths and man-made fictions. And will accept the unacceptable. 2 Timothy 4:3-4
Today, more than ever, Christians are living in glass houses. ALL words and actions are under a microscope because many are looking for any reason to discredit and malign Jesus and His teachings.
Don’t be one of those Christians!
