Shortly before His crucifixion, Jesus spoke these words to His disciples, “Everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in Me will be in you, and will give you great confidence as you rest in Me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” John 16:33
Sadly, for decades in the American Church “fast food grace” has been preached. Personal happiness and prosperity is a divine right of those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. God will give you whatever you want if you simply ask Him in the right way.
As if our happiness is Papa’s primary concern.
It’s not by the way!
Papa’s primary concern is His Kingdom and its manifestation here on earth. Doing whatever it takes to ensure this happens. This includes strengthening your character through troubles and suffering so you can assist Him in His Kingdom building project.
Immaturity is a big problem today!
Many have become too dull and sluggish to understand. For you should already be professors instructing others by now. Instead, you need to be taught from the beginning the basics of God’s prophetic oracles!
You’re like children still needing milk and not yet ready to digest solid food. Every spiritual infant who lives on milk is not yet pierced by the revelation of righteousness. But solid food is for the mature whose spiritual senses perceive heavenly matters. They have been adequately trained by what they’ve experienced to emerge with understanding of the difference between what is truly excellent, and what is evil and harmful. Hebrews 5:11-14
Beloved, the days are treacherous, in the world and the American Church. Weak, unrighteous, false teachings abound.
BUT…
There’s hope arising on the horizon. Believers seeking the God of Jesus, not man‘s facsimile.
Disciples of Christ who have boldly proclaimed to the realm of darkness, “It is finished! Let us go up at once and possess the Promise Land, Papa’s Kingdom. We are well able to conquer the giants of the kingdom of darkness because of who dwells within us— Almighty God.”
It’s time to stop playing church and become the Church.
Spiritually mature.
Courageous.
Defiant.
No longer tolerating unrighteousness— evil.
Faithfully following and serving Her one and only Love, Jesus.
Boldly proclaiming through words and deeds, “Prepare the way for the return of the King of kings, Lord of lords, Jesus Christ!”
