I believe the Church is entering a new season. One characterized by repentance and holiness. A season in which Papa’s sovereignty and holiness MUST be honored.
Your heavenly Father sent Jesus to earth so He could love you into holiness. So at long last, mankind could all have one heart— the sinless heart of Jesus— Papa’s heart.
For far too long Christians’ expectations regarding their ability to resist sin and live a holy life has been too low. Sadly, many teachers of the Gospel have reinforced this. Instead of challenging Christians to live a sinless life, many have taught that all will continue to sin this side of heaven.
What a lie of the devil!
If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments. That person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love Him. That is how we know we are living in Him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. 1 John 2:4-6
How did Jesus live His life?
That’s right! You are to live a sinless life.
Impossible you say?
It is if you try to do it without Papa’s grace.
Like us, Jesus had to battle the desires of His flesh so He could obey Papa’s precepts and commandments. Papa didn’t shelter Jesus from sin. Instead Papa provided His grace, His power to resist sin.
If Jesus could be holy and undefiled, so can you! The Spirit of the living God who lived in Jesus lives in you.
In this season, Papa’s amazing grace is available to those who repent and seek holiness. Trusting Papa to do what He does best— resurrecting life.
The hand of the Lord was on me, and He brought me out by His Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley. It was full of bones. He led me all around them. There were a great many of them on the surface of the valley, and they were very dry.
Then He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I replied, “Lord God, only You know.”
He said to me, “Prophesy concerning these bones and say to them. Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Lord God says to these bones. I will cause breath to enter you, and you will live. I will put tendons on you. Make flesh grow on you. Cover you with skin. I will put breath in you so that you come to life. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”
So I prophesied as I had been commanded. While I was prophesying there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. As I looked, tendons appeared on them. Flesh grew. Skin covered them. But there was no breath in them.
He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy son of man. Say to it. This is what the Lord God says. Breath, come from the four winds and breathe into these slain so that they may live!”
So I prophesied as He commanded me. The breath entered them, and they came to life and stood on their feet— a vast army. Ezekiel 37:1-10
