The hysteria related to COVID-19 grows, even among Christians. Thankfully I have peace that surpasses all understanding.

How?

I…

Worship at the feet of Almighty God, not idols (anyone or anything placed before or above Him).  

Study and meditate on His wisdom and truth.

Believe Papa and He alone supplies all my needs. 

Unequivocally trust Papa in the unknown.

As Papa did in the days of Amos, I believe He has drawn a line in the sand for Christians. Not because He is angry, but because the day of Christ’s return nears.

Papa’s asking us, “Who do you trust to supply all your needs? The idols of this world or Me?”

Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. Instead, be very glad. These trials make you partners with Christ in His suffering. So that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing His glory when it is revealed to all the world.

If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you. If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble or prying into other people’s affairs. 

But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by His name! 

The time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. If judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News? Also, if the righteous are barely saved, what will happen to godless sinners?

So if you are suffering in a manner that pleases God, keep on doing what is right. Trust your lives to the God who created you, for He will never fail you. 1 Peter 4:12-19

What is needed at this time in history is repentance. We must… 

Fall on our faces and pray earnestly to Papa. 

Turn from our evil ways— anything that contradicts Papa’s righteousness— His truth. 

Throw our idolatry on the fire of Papa’s judgment. Allow Him to destroy it.

Embrace the totality of our salvation in Christ.

Yes, we are living in treacherous times. Times when evil appears to reign supreme.

BUT

Don’t be discouraged. We have at our disposal the greatest weapon of all times, the Love of God— Jesus. 

Even in the midst of all these things, we triumph over them all. God has made us to be more than conquerors, and His demonstrated love is our glorious victory over everything!

So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that His love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, and dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken His love.

There is no power above us or beneath us. No power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love. Which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! Romans 8:37-39
