An eternal mindset enables you to withstand the desire to seek relief rather than victory when…
Negative circumstances last longer than anticipated.
Emotions wane and no longer motivate you.
The anticipation and excitement of a promise from God wears off and is replaced with uninspiring hard work.
Doubt and worry replace faith and hope.
Weakened by the winds of adversity and uncertainty. You no longer have the strength to stand. Wave after wave of hopelessness and despair pummel you. Shaking the very foundation of your being. As the winds of death howl at the front door of your heart, it takes all your willpower to resist opening the door and inviting in the darkness that threatens your will to live.
It’s only by looking at the big picture— eternity, can you objectively assess your current circumstances. This objectivity in the midst of chaos allows the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to saturate your soul.
Don’t allow the voice of your flesh to drown out the voice of the Holy Spirit. Your faith in Christ arms you with the offensive and defensive weapons necessary to overcome the negative circumstances of life.
Trust Papa. Be confident the victory is yours because of your relationship with Jesus. A faith that proudly proclaims, “Through all this, I (insert your name) did not sin or blame Papa for doing anything wrong.”
Then Job replied to the Lord, “I am nothing. How could I ever find the answers? I will cover my mouth with my hand. I have said too much already. I have nothing more to say.”
