Are you a cheerleader for the underdog?
Individuals tossed aside or identified as insignificant. Misfits, freaks and out of box thinkers who do not conform to social norms.
Individuals whose tough exterior is the armor they put on each day. Protecting hearts battered and bruised by the evil life has flung at them.
Individuals when they work up the courage to walk inside a church are ignored or rejected.
Many present day Christians refuse to love their neighbors.
Talking the talk. Not walking the walk.
Unless you look and act like us, membership is denied.
A Church non-believers distrust because She does not look like Jesus. She does not love all.
Gandhi once said. “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”
Come on guys. Make this quote no longer true.
Let us love our neighbors.
No ifs, ands or buts!
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
And Jesus replied to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.
The second is like it. ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. That is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others.’”
