Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

Be Still

Resting in the Lord is a condition of the heart that increases your spiritual acuity. The chaos and uncertainty of your circumstances drowned out by Papa’s loving voice.

Knowing Papa’s faithful and eternal promises are your armor and protection. Peace and hope cocoon you. Insulating you from the multitude of voices clamoring for your attention and allegiance.

Jesus understood the importance of resting in the Lord. Trusting His heavenly Father to be faithful.

Before beginning His earthly ministry the Holy Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness. Where water, food and people were absent from His daily existence for forty days and nights. It was here Jesus learned how to deny the desires of His flesh by total dependence upon Papa’s grace.

Unconditionally trusting Him.

Resting in the Lord is not a passive process. You must…

Deny the desires of your flesh.

Say goodbye to YOUR dreams.

Be obedient when your rational mind is screaming, “This is stupid—illogical!”

Ignore the advice of others when it conflicts with what Papa has asked you to do.

By resting in the Lord you are extending an open invitation to the God of the Universe. One that He promises to RSVP with an enthusiastic YES!

Transforming your life into one of legacy and joy.

No wonder my heart is glad, and I rejoice. My body rests in safety. For You will not leave my soul among the dead or allow Your holy one to rot in the grave. You will show me the way of life. Granting me the joy of Your presence and the pleasures of living with You forever.

Psalm 16:9-11
