Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

Wilderness Gratitude

Gratefulness is easy when it is smooth sailing.

When there is abundance.

When Papa’s presence is tangible.

But what about those times when your soul is parched and dying of thirst? Uncertainty, unanswered prayers and Papa’s silence are you constant companions?

What do you do then?

Do not fixate on what is wrong. What is missing in your life. Instead praise Papa’s goodness.

The Great I AM who is the same yesterday, today and forever.

The King of kings who never lies or changes His mind.

The Lord of lords who is faithful to fulfill His promises.

Abba Father who never forsakes His children and gives good gifts to His children.

Yes, Papa is good all the time, even those times in the wilderness!

The wilderness is where Papa accomplishes His deepest work. Painstakingly removing those heart issues that…

Damage your soul.

Silence His voice.

Weaken your ability to defend yourself against the devil’s destructive schemes.

Sabotage your Kingdom destiny.

So, the next time you find yourself in the wilderness. Do not worry about dying of thirst. If you will maintain a grateful attitude, Papa will lead you to the oasis of His loving arms.

Therefore I am now going to allure her. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her.

Hosea 2:14 (New International Version)
