In America sin— evil has been whitewashed. Ignored. Confined to children’s fairy tales. The belief in and devotion to absolute truth is unilaterally rejected. Thanks to humanistic philosophies and political correct doctrines. Good and evil are continually redefined.
Personal intentions no longer are considered the source of one’s actions, good or bad. Genetics. Cultural expectations. Environmental factors have replaced free will as the watchdog of human behavior.
When the Lord created man. He gave man not only the ability but also His permission to make choices— free will. This ability to choose a course of action from among various alternatives is what separates man from all creation.
You have a choice. You can either obey God— the Father of righteousness and life or satan— the father of sin and death.
But do not be deceived. Thinking you can overcome the yearnings of the flesh singlehandedly. Only God’s grace can empower you to overcome sin and live a victorious life.

The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good. The evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil. For his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
