God is the all powerful and all knowing Creator of the universe, and He stills rules it today.
True or false?
How you answer this question is fundamental to your spiritual and personal transformation.
The God who spoke light into existence. Saying, ‘Let light shine from the darkness,’ is the very One who sets our hearts ablaze to shed light on the knowledge of God’s glory revealed in the face of Jesus, the Anointed One. 2 Corinthians 4:6
The universe’s existence testifies to the awesomeness of its Creator. Like in the beginning, it is His righteousness that has the power today to create in us new hearts.
But you will have to decide whether Jesus or you are the rightful owner of your life. Only then will you be able to repent and turn from your sins. Not letting them destroy you! Putting all your rebellion behind you.
How can you do this?
Aim at and pursue righteousness— right standing with God and true goodness, godliness. Which is the loving fear of God and being Christ-like, faith, love, steadfastness— patience and gentleness of heart.
Fight the good fight of the faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and for which you confessed the good confession of faith before many witnesses. Keep all His precepts unsullied and flawless, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ the Anointed One. 1 Timothy 6:11-12 and 14
This way of thinking and acting will lead you away from the wisdom of man and into the throne room of God. Your life will be characterized by phenomenal faith. Faith fueled by truth— God’s righteousness.
Faith when given the option of kneeling to idolatry or devoured by lions. Chooses the later.
Daniel, a son of a nobleman, was born in Judah. At the age of fifteen, life as he knew it came to an abrupt end.
Judah’s disobedience to the Lord and His righteousness ushered in the Lord’s judgment. The Babylonian king, Nebuchadnezzar, conquered Judah. Solomon’s temple was destroyed. The holy vessels of the temple confiscated and placed in the house of a Babylonian god.
The Hebrew children of nobility were abducted and imprisoned in Nebuchadnezzaar’s court. Youths in whom were no defect. They were intelligent, handsome and would honorably serve the king. Daniel was one of the chosen.
From day one of his captivity, Daniel refused to compromise God’s righteousness. When ordered by the king’s chief eunuch to eat pagan food. Daniel respectfully requested a different diet. One that did not violate the dietary requirements of the Law— the Lord’s righteousness.
By obeying the Lord’s truth. Daniel was able to live righteously in a pagan society. Daniel defied the political correctness of the Babylonian kingdom. Making the tough decisions so that God and His Kingdom were glorified.
Will you boldly live a life that declares the Lord is a
- God of excellence who is not satisfied with the status quo?
- relational God who wants you to passionately pursue Him?
- holy God who is dishonored by words and actions that misrepresent His righteousness?
- righteous God who equates Kingdom living with spiritual maturity?
- trustworthy God whose truth is infallible and eternally relevant?
- visionary God who uses the prophetic to prepare His Church for Christ’s return?
- transformational God who demands converts become like Christ?
- sovereign God whose Kingdom exists outside the four walls of a local church?
Will you be a Daniel? Boldly marching into the dens of political correctness, humanism, and religious hypocrisy. Confident God is all powerful and all knowing. Honoring those who honor Him.
Be a VOICE shouting into the wilderness.
“CHRIST is returning!”
