Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

mirror_mirror_on_the_wall____by_basistka-d3hxcy1Have you ever known someone? Who in the beginning appeared honest, dependable and trustworthy? Then as time went by this façade crumbled?

This happens when personal identity is built upon image rather than authenticity. If you want to know the true condition of others hearts. Listen to the words they speak. No matter how hard anyone may try to conceal what is in his or her heart. A slip of the tongue is inevitable.

Not true of the authentic, pure in heart believer. A quiet confidence emanates from them. The need to impress others has been replaced with a passionate desire to please only God.

Since there are no hidden agendas or ulterior motives. Authentic believers are true to their word and keep promises. Understanding that to fulfill their Kingdom destiny. They cannot become overly involved in someone else’s goals or problems. Saying no to anything not on God’s agenda.

Although loving towards others. Authentic believers refuse to compromise the Word of God. To live spiritually mediocre lives to maintain relationships. No longer intimidated by the opinions or acceptance of others. They are confident. Knowing that whoever leans on, trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high. Proverbs 29:25

Sadly, both unbelievers and faux Christians shun authentic believers. Because their light— authenticity illuminates the darkness of deception residing in them.

After all, if they were to acknowledge all authority in heaven and earth has been given to Jesus. These individuals could no longer hide behind pretense and self-deception.

They would have to acknowledge the uncompromising and infallible truth. We have no obligation to live the way our corrupt nature wants us to live. If you live by your corrupt nature. You are going to die. But if you use your spiritual nature to put to death the evil activities of the body. You will live. Romans 8:12-13

If you have grown weary of living a lie, quit lying. Embrace the transformation process. Say yes to Jesus, and one day you will hear the Lord speak these words to you.

Well done my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount. So now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together! Matthew 25:21
