Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

2Why are there not more Proverbs 31 women? Women who lavishly love both Christ and their family through both word and deed?

Could it be too few women are willing to dedicate their lives to Christ first, family and profession second?

Or…

Are there to many adults who refuse being second to Christ when it comes to being loved?

Or…

Both?

Christ forewarns us.

If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters. Yes, and even his own life in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God. He cannot be My disciple.

Whoever does not carry his own cross. Expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come and follow after Me. Believing in Me. Conforming to My example in living and if need be. Suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me. Cannot be My disciple. Luke 14:26-27

Christ is not being heartless but loving and compassionate. Knowing by loving Him above all others. Our hearts are enlarged and our capacity to love others is amplified.

This wisdom strengthens the Proverbs 31 women. She understands that charm and grace are deceptive, and superficial beauty is vain. But a woman who fears the Lord. Reverently worshiping, obeying, serving and trusting Him with awe-filled respect. She shall be praised.

Give her of the product of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates of the city. Proverbs 31:30-31

Let us all honor those women who have said yes to carrying their crosses for Christ. Loving Him above all others. Boldly shouting for all to hear.

For You shaped me inside and out. You knitted me together in my mother’s womb long before I took my first breath.

I will offer You my grateful heart for I am Your unique creation. Filled with wonder and awe.

You have approached even the smallest details with excellence. Your works are wonderful. I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.

You see all things. Nothing about me was hidden from You as I took shape in secret. Carefully crafted in the heart of the earth before I was born from its womb.

You see all things. You saw me growing. Changing in my mother’s womb. Every detail of my life was already written in Your book. You established the length of my life before I ever tasted the sweetness of it.

Your thoughts and plans are treasures to me, O God! I cherish each and every one of them! How grand in scope! How many in number!

If I could count each one of them, they would be more than all the grains of sand on earth. Their number is inconceivable! Psalm 139:13-18

Assured that if God is for us. Who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all. Won’t he also give us everything else?

Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His own? No one. God Himself has given us right standing with Himself.

Who then will condemn us? No one. Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Pleading for us.

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love?

Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?

No, despite all these things overwhelming victory is ours through Christ. Who loved us.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.

Neither death nor life.

Neither angels nor demons.

Neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow.

Not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

No power in the sky above or in the earth below.

Indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39
