Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

gold-glitterThere was a time when a person’s word was golden. Contracts, notary publics and lawyers were few and far between. Not true today.

No longer surprised when a politician, athlete, celebrity, minister or corporation is exposed for unethical or criminal behavior. Americans have accepted such behavior as a way of life, not an anomaly.

People cannot to be trusted.

This is why I like many others are wary of what others say. Judging their character by their deeds, not their words. Knowing many make promises— vows only to

  • appease others.
  • make the individual or others look good.
  • deceive.
  • inflict harm and pain upon others.

Today, I celebrate you whose word is golden.

Who make promises you intend to keep.

Who say no instead of yes.

Who understand that a promise is to be fulfilled no matter what.

Who walk the talk.

Be a VOICE in the deafening sound of sameness!
