Life sometimes sucks. No matter how you dress it up. Life is sometimes a bed of thorns, not a bed of roses.
Those thorns of life draw blood. Break hearts. Open the floodgates of tears.
Thankfully, these thorns in the hands of a loving God can create a heart of incomparable beauty. One that is soft as silk and strong as steel.
If King Nebuchadnezzar, one of the most evil men to have lived could be rescued from a life of thorns. So can you!
Dethroned and totally isolated from all human contact. King Nebuchadnezzar for seven years grazed on grass like an ox. Slept on the hard wet ground with a rock for his pillow. Hair growing long like the feathers of eagles and nails like the claws of birds.
Eventually King Nebuchadnezzar came to the end of himself and reached out to God for help. Firmly grasping the king’s hand. The Lord pulled him out of the pit.
Be encouraged you whose lives are thorny. Immersed in pain, hopelessness and despair.
The Lord is waiting to come to your rescue because you are the apple of your Daddy’s eye. He sacrificed Jesus so you could call Him Daddy. Allowing His heart to be broken so He could heal yours.
Crawl into your Daddy’s lap. Tell Him how much you love Him. Ask Him for whatever is on your heart.
Do not be afraid or ashamed. Your Daddy loves you unconditionally!
Be a VOICE in the deafening sound of sameness!
Nice!p
Thanks! Have a wonderful weekend!
