Love one another as Jesus has loved us.

These past several months has been a time of reflection. Evoking both pain and pleasure— the essence of life. Closing doors to what was and what could have been. Opening doors to the unknown. Trusting the Lord in a way I never have.

It has been intimidating but also exhilarating. Knowing each time I step into the unknown. It is an opportunity to experience life with arms wide open. No longer encumbered by fears, regrets or loss.

Not to say…

  • My heart has not skipped a beat.
  • The butterflies in my stomach have been motionless. No, they have morphed into pterodactyls— flying dinosaurs.
  • My breathing is deep and regular. Some days it feels as if I’m running a marathon.
  • My nights are filled with restful, uninterrupted sleep. I have prayed more in the middle of the night these past few months than at any other time in my life.

With all that said. I highly recommend it!

Life is like a trip to the amusement park. You can play it safe. Ride only the rides you have ridden or the kiddie rides.

You can have some unforgettable fun. Find the scariest thing you have never done before and do it!

Thanks for listening to my voice! Feel free to like and share it with your friends.

Have a great day! Rita

Be a VOICE in the deafening sound of sameness!
