Believing these truths is a great beginning. But it’s only a beginning. You must also fight the good fight of the faith! Cling to the eternal life that is yours when you proclaimed Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Yes, the faithful are at war with an enemy whose only purpose in being is to destroy God’s creation. Don’t think for a single moment that you’ll survive this battle for your soul with a Pollyanna attitude. Sitting around the campfire, holding hands and singing Kumbaya only makes you an easier target for the devil.
My faith today looks different than it did in the beginning. Thank God! He has taught me how to fight the good fight of faith with the heart of a warrior.
